When I was very young, I listened to Boy George, and Wham!. When I got older, Eddie Izzard was my favorite comedian (Cake or Death!), and I never gave a second thought to Klinger on M.A.S.H. or Dame Edna.
I've watched Rocky Horror a hundred times.. and if the fabulousness of RuPaul hasn't made us all gay yet, I'm pretty sure nothing will.
I'm glad I'm not gay. I'm glad I'm not a crossdresser. I feel embarrassed just wearing a mask, in the store, when shopping during a pandemic, I don't know how one finds the strength to be "different" ...let alone finding that strength when you're 12.
They say artists shouldn't have political views, but I don't care. I don't like bullies, and Eddie Izzard is still my favorite comedian.

No wife... no kids... you reach a certain age, and you start to wonder what impact you had on the world, what legacy you're leaving behind. I'm leaving these paintings behind... If a hundred years after I'm dead, someone sees something they like, that's good enough for me.
